2010 has been one great fruitful and meaningful year for me.
At the beginning of 2010, I gave up many things to focus on piano teaching solely, in particular my goal to pursue a doctorate, as well as my postgraduate study and work at the university. It was a seemingly doubtful decision from time to time. “Is it worth it? I could do everything at the same time, why do I have to give up on them now but teaching only?”
At first, I could not be sure if that was a right call to make. Gradually, I took in more students; I met many difficult “cases” and people; I worked on this website, I wrote and wrote, I made many videos and recordings; I got better students, and I met more strange parents/students, etc etc.
The path was not smooth, but I made it through. It was hard work yet a much satisfying process.
Now 2010 is over. 2011 begins.
There will be new planning, new methods; new articles, new videos; and also new students.
Let’s start another great promising teaching year, even better than the last!!
Wish you all a wonderful year ahead,
